Life Coaching and Prayer – Why They Go Together

When I meet with my clients for a coaching session, my time of support does not end at when our time comes to a close. Not only do I end our time with an affirmative prayer, but I continue to hold my clients in prayer until our next session.

During a coaching appointment, the client is usually wanting to see a shift in their life or a shift in the way they are showing up in a circumstance or challenge they are facing. Through clarifying questions, the client becomes aware of their next steps and before the session closes, these steps of actions are written down and it becomes their homework until the next time we meet.

As a coach and a licensed practitioner with the Centers for Spiritual Living, it is honor to pray for my clients in between our sessions, knowing for them that they are not alone, but guided by a power greater than ourselves and that this power is like our GPS on our phones. It wants to guide us to where we would like to be and sometimes it takes us on streets that we would not have considered because we don’t see the traffic jam ahead, i.e. the big picture.

So, know that when you meet with me for coaching, you are held in affirmative prayer for your highest and best outcome for the path of life you are on. πŸ™
