Last week a touched on the topic of longings and how a longing can gently guide us to the next step of our evolutional journey. I know that may sound grand and formal, but it is just the tug of the heart, a nudge from that Intelligence within us that when followed, expansion begins to occur in our lives.
Today I want to talk about curiosity and bringing our curious nature into our day and exploring the tugs and nudges that pull on our hearts. Curiosity never means having to commit to something, but it does allow us to check things out. I can tell you there are little stores and cafes in the town that I live in that I have been curious about but have not explored yet. There are also roads and hiking paths in my county that I have not traversed. Allowing time for curiosity lets me see just how much beauty surrounds me that I have yet to see. It also permits me to meet new people and experience serendipitous moments.
I continue to explore topics of interest and teachings weekly for which I do deep dives to research about them. My Mom used to say, “The older I get, the more aware I become about what I don’t know.” That understanding of hers led her to study Quantum Physics in her early 70’s. Her curiosity of what she had not learned yet took her to study new ideas and expanded her mind.
Do you take time to follow the tugs and nudges that your heart gives you, or do you set them aside? You may think life is too busy to add another thing to your plate, but I would like to encourage us to at least make a note of these moments on a small pad of paper or in your notes section on your phone. Your intuition is working at getting your attention. Your curiosity will then lead you. AND… you just may come across what you have been needing or wanting all along. 💖
